Exercise Science Undergraduate Wins Award

Christine Chicoine, a senior Exercise Science major, recently won the Hamilton S. Putnam Scholarship Award
DURHAM, N.H.—

Christine Chicoine, a senior Exercise Science major, recently won the Hamilton S. Putnam Scholarship Award. The purpose of the Hamilton S. Putnam Scholarship Fund is to provide a merit award to undergraduate students at the University of New Hampshire enrolled in the College of Health and Human Services. Criteria in making the award are academic achievement in health-related studies as well as intentions to pursue a career in medicine or another health-related field.

Christine plans to pursue her Physician's Assistant degree following graduation and would like to work with a medical group specializing in orthopedics. Christine is also the President of the Association of Exercise Science Students, the UNH undergraduate exercise science majors organization.
