Two Exercise Science Students Present Research at the New England American College of Sports Medicine Meeting; One Wins AwardNovember 19, 2009
UNH Exercise Science students, Erica Millett and Rachel Kralian presented their research findings at the recent New England American College of Sports Medicine (NEACSM) meeting in Providence, RI. Both students worked under the guidance of Dr. Dain LaRoche this past summer. Rachel presented her findings involving vision, balance, and walking in elderly women while Erica presented her work on ankle strength and stiffness and their impact on walking in older women. Both students gave oral presentations and competed for the NEACSM’s Outstanding Undergraduate Presentation. Rachel Kralian won this highly regarded award! Congratulations to both women! |
