Charlotte Cross Appears on WMUR

DURHAM, N.H.— Charlotte Cross, an extension specialist and faculty member in the Department of Family Studies, appeared on the WMUR News Thursday, January 21, to talk about Operation Military Kids (OMK).

Cross, who is the director of the OMK program, spoke with Erin Fehlau about the Hero Pack Project that supports children who have a parent or sibling who is deployed. This year OMK expects to distribute between 2,000 and 2,500 Hero Packs to children in New Hampshire. Cross also provided information about the stresses that military families currently face.
